My husband and I have been owned by cats all of our lives.  We met in 1995 and we were married  soon afterward.  We combined our "kids" two cats, a dog, and a son to make a happy family .  Unfortunately,  one of our cats Boris passed away.  In his memory, we searched for a cat who was loving and gentle just like our Boris.  Our search took use to the doorstep of a Ragdoll breeder.  We were so impressed by this cat we decided that we would breed this wonderful cat to share the joy of owning a Ragdoll.

Once we made our decision to breed Ragdolls we made sure that our breeders came from a great lineage with champion bloodlines.  We also wanted to keep our cattery small so that we could hand raise our kittens in our home.  We feel that all cats are better off if they have one to one attention.  That is why they live, eat, sleep, and play with us in the home.

In 2001 we were blessed with another boy Luke. The Ragdoll cat is patient and great with kids. Our Ragdolls accepted Luke as one of their own. Since they are so dog like I trained them to not jump in the crib. When Luke was two he thought that cat tails were handles. He would pull Hermes by the tail down the hall. Hermes meowed at me when he had enough. The cats never harmed a hair on Lukes head. Of course, we taught Luke that cat tails are not to be used as handles.

  • Olympusdolls is now the oldest Ragdoll cattery in Indiana. Our cattery is registered with The International Cat Association(TICA), Cat Fanciers Association(CFA), and the Ragdoll Fanciers Association.  We maintain a strict breeding program where only the best are produced, with emphasis on health, type, and temperament.  All of our kittens come with 2 veterinarian health checks, health record, updated shots, a guarantee to be free of Feline Leukemia (FLV), FIP and worms, a genetic health guarantee, and are registered with TICA.  Pet kittens are sold with a non-breeding agreement in order to uphold the quality of the Ragdoll.  Breeders and Show quality kittens are sold with a cat contract.  Pet quality kittens are $500 each.

Our "Boy" Hercules is a Chocolate Bicolor who loves being the king of his pride.  His grandfather Ragnarok's Elvis of Chatandolls was one of the first Supreme Grand Champions in the Ragdoll class.  Many of his relatives have won championships varies associations.  He loves to play but is always a gentleman with the "girls". In 2008 we will retire Hercules. We will have another boy to take his place.

Our "Girls" are from International Award winning lines.  Athena, Hera , Asteria and Demeter keep Hercules in line.  They are curious and love to play.  Athena loves kittens. She is now retired but loves to play with everyone in the cattery. She is the constimate mother and keeps everyone in line.  Hera was an excellent mother. She is retired now and she is daddy's girl. When Chris comes home no one else matters. Unless you come and visit us. She loves to be petted under the chin. Asteria is a playful and curious. Her first litter was in 2003. She is a loving and playful mother. Her kittens are gorgoeus. Our new girl is Demeter. We will breed her in 2007. She is playful and loves to snuggle with the dog Xena.

Aphrodite is our little girl.  She is our pet show Ragdoll.  True to her name she is beautiful and loving. We do have one more "Boy" in our cattery. His name is Apollo.  He is our neutered boy and our messenger of what a pet Ragdoll is really like.  If you come to our cattery he will greet you and welcome you into our home.  But you better be prepared to give him some love.  For that is the toll you pay to meet these Ragdolls. Purrseus is at our sister cattery in California.  He is a very loving Ragdoll.  When you pet him he purrs.  And he has the loudest purr we have ever heard from a cat.   Hence his name Purrseus. We have another sister cattery in Owensboro, Ky. One of Hercules's sons is a breeder at Five Star Cattery.

Olympusdolls is located in Newburgh, In east of Evansville which is in southern Indiana by the Kentucky and Illinois border.  We welcome visitors to our cattery for you must see a Ragdoll in person in order to truly enjoy them.  Visits are by appointment only.  Please call (812)858-8004 or e-mail us for an appointment.  We all look forward to hearing from you soon.
